Cancer of the skin can be identified during the initial stages, and both patients and doctors play vital roles in finding skin cancer. If you notice any of the following symptoms, then speak to your doctor immediately. Any changes on the skin, especially in the color or size of the mole or other darkly pigmented growth or spots, or any other new growths. Oozing, scaliness, loss of blood, or any other change in appearance of a nodule or bump. When the pigmentation spreads beyond its border such as dark coloring which spreads past the edges of the mole or mark. Similarly any changes in itchiness, sensation, tenderness, or pain in that area.
